Well, it has been a while since I hve updated so its a big one today. We have lots to tell :o) This picture is how we see Alex most of the time now...fist in his mouth. He started this weeks ago and we didnt think much of it. Now he is drooling like crazy, and we are thinking he is teething. Normally, I would think it is way too early, but Vickey said Marty got teeth early as well. Last week Marty noticed a "white" dot on his gum. I'm still not sure if it is a tooth that popped through or not...I know sounds strange, but it isn't one of his front 4 teeth, so it would seem strange to me that a side tooth would come in first??? Time will tell, I guess.

Well, here he is! This picture is from this morning at about 7:15 am. I just had to capture a picture of him in all his glory. He is now a little big guy! He woke up and was jabbering away next to Marty and I in bed when all of a sudden in slow motion he rolled from his tummy to his side! I was gasping, "Oh, my gosh! Is he going to roll over?" He stayed that way talking like crazy as he does when he happily wakes up every day. Then all of a sudden he completed the roll and was flat on his back! I cried...big tears I cried! I'm not sure why? There was a sense of pride there... "OUR little guy just rolled over for the first time!" or was it because I also thought, "Oh, no! He's getting too big! OUR little BABY just rolled over for the first time!" or maybe it was just the pure joy I felt knowing Marty and I both happened to be there at the perfect moment to see the big milestone! Either way, I cried big tears that dropped on his little cheek as I kissed him. Oh, how I love, love, love being a mommy!

Some bathtime fun. He is beginning to like taking baths more and more. Thank you to Tom for the super duper cute dino bathrobe and matching slippers! :o)

Isn't the hood so cute!

I adore this picture! His crazy wet hair and huge smiles! I just love the little guy!

I love his expression!

Saturday, Dec 6th was Marty's 31st birthday. He decided he wanted to go to St. Paul to the MN Ice Fishing Show. Our friends Chris and Katie came with and we had a great time! Alex was so good. I was a little nervous to see how he was going to be all day long mostly in his stroller, but he was a champ. I also learned he loves the Baby Bjorn, so now I can use that more often too! We had dinner at Bennihanas on our way back...one of our favorite places on earth to dine. I'm sure Alex's first of many trips there in his life. He was so good. He sat on my lap the entire time we ate and was just mesmorized by the chef that was grilling in front of us. I did have one of my worst mommy moments though. I took Alex to the bathroom all the way across the resturaunt to change him. On our way back I was carrying him so he was looking out over my shoulder. When I got back to our table, Marty quickly informed me that Alex had puked! I never realized it! Boy, did he puke! Because I didn't notice it, it was all over my shoulder, and he had rubbed his entire face in it...puke in his hair, on his eye lashes, all over his cheeks, everywhere. I felt so bad. People must have really wondered what I was doing as they looked at us walking back from the bathroom. Poor little guy.

Just a cute picture of Alex hugging daddy as he was sleeping. He loves that camo outfit! Well, I think all three of us do.

Just a picture of Alex being goofy. I had him nicely laying with his head resting on the boppy when he used his legs to push himself back. His head was practically upside down because he had pushed himself up so high. Silly guy.

The day after Thanksgiving I had my annual shopping trip with my mom. Because of circumstances we were left without a babysitter. Alex got to help dad with work for a few hours that morning! This is how he layed as dad got his work done!

Dad and Alex hard at work in the office.

Alex and Marty's cousin Whitney at Thanksgiving dinner! So cute!

Our smiley little guy!

Alex's Godmother Sheena playing with him on the floor at my parents house on Thanksgiving.

Godmother Sheena holding Alex on his 1st Thanksgiving! (That's my mom and Alex's cousin, Mackinzie, in the background)

Here was another one of Alex's milestones. This was his first time "reaching out" to play with toys! He loves this musical toy thingy! I was so happy to catch it on camera.

Little Alex showing off his camo bandaids from his first shots after his 2 month Dr. appt. He was a champ and did super good! It was definitely harder on Mom than it was on him!!!

Alex and mom in the Dr. office. This is the "before" shots picture. He's a happy camper. Little did I know he would cry for 10 seconds then be back to his happy camper self! Marty and I are truely blessed with a good baby.
